Vraća se dubrovački boks, ulazi u ring. Gong će za koji dan na zagrebačkom Velesajmu označiti njegov službeni povratak. I to ćemo, dakle, dočekati. Boksački klub Dubrovnik u Hrvatskoj ligi! Sretno!

Vraća se jer je ‘živio‘ u gradu 40-ih i 50-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, a vraća se jer su u ovo doba, prošle godine, braća Perak, Maro i Kristijan, sjeli i dogovorili dolazak trenera boksa u Gospino polje. Bilo je to prvih dana ožujka 2022. godine. Ring u borilačkoj dvorani, a u njemu Ukrajinac Sergej Vakeryna i Maro Perak.

Uz ring desetak članova Ultimate fight kluba Gladiator. Bio je to prvi školski sat Ukrajinca, koji je tamo negdje 2014. godine krenuo svoje znanje prenositi izvan granica svoje domovine. Radio je u Crnoj Gori, te potom u Hrvatskoj, i to prvo u Zadru, u Boksačkom klubu Sveti Donat, a zatim je pomagao i u radu s hrvatskom juniorskom reprezentacijom.

Nažalost, krajem srpnja prošle godine otišao je iznenada Maro Perak, zauvijek je zaklopio oči, u 40. godini života, a on je vukao najviše. Bio je lokomotiva Gladiatora, ali, srećom, imao je uz sebe ekipu, te se nije ugasilo svjetlo u borilačkoj dvorani u Gospinom polju. Svijetli i dalje.

Nastavio je raditi i Vakeryna. Non stop je u dvorani. Prisjetili smo se kako je u Kijevu završio fakultet za trenera boksa, kako je prvo radio u svom klubu s najmlađima, poslije ih vodio kroz starije uzraste, te pomagao u ukrajinskoj reprezentaciji. Inače, i sam je bio boksač. Natjecao se od svoje petnaeste do osamnaeste godine. Bio u to vrijeme treći u Ukrajini, te tim uspjehom zaslužio status kandidata za majstora sporta.

Kao što je to radio u Ukrajini unatrag 20-ak godina, tako je krenuo u Dubrovniku. Okupio je mladost, krenuo s njima raditi osnove boksa. S najmlađima motoriku, sa starijima abecedu boksa. Bez tog se temelja ne može, istaknut će, te dodati kako za dobar rezultat treba vremena, oko tri godine.

Što su naučili u nepunu godinu dana, jedanaest mjeseci od prvog treninga? Doznat ćemo u subotu, 18. veljače, u Zagrebu, u Boksačkom centru na Velesajmu. Prvi put u povijesti Hrvatske amaterske lige, koju organizira Zagrebački boksački savez, nastupit će i članovi Boksačkog kluba Dubrovnik, i to jedna boksačica (Iva Cetinić), te tri boksača (Maroje Žuvela, David Žakula i Ante Klinac).

Vraća se dubrovački boks, ulazi u ring. Gong će za koji dan na zagrebačkom Velesajmu označiti njegov službeni povratak. I to ćemo, dakle, dočekati. Boksački klub Dubrovnik u Hrvatskoj ligi! Sretno!

Vraća se jer je ‘živio‘ u gradu 40-ih i 50-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, a vraća se jer su u ovo doba, prošle godine, braća Perak, Maro i Kristijan, sjeli i dogovorili dolazak trenera boksa u Gospino polje. Bilo je to prvih dana ožujka 2022. godine. Ring u borilačkoj dvorani, a u njemu Ukrajinac Sergej Vakeryna i Maro Perak.

Uz ring desetak članova Ultimate fight kluba Gladiator. Bio je to prvi školski sat Ukrajinca, koji je tamo negdje 2014. godine krenuo svoje znanje prenositi izvan granica svoje domovine. Radio je u Crnoj Gori, te potom u Hrvatskoj, i to prvo u Zadru, u Boksačkom klubu Sveti Donat, a zatim je pomagao i u radu s hrvatskom juniorskom reprezentacijom.

Nažalost, krajem srpnja prošle godine otišao je iznenada Maro Perak, zauvijek je zaklopio oči, u 40. godini života, a on je vukao najviše. Bio je lokomotiva Gladiatora, ali, srećom, imao je uz sebe ekipu, te se nije ugasilo svjetlo u borilačkoj dvorani u Gospinom polju. Svijetli i dalje.

Nastavio je raditi i Vakeryna. Non stop je u dvorani. Prisjetili smo se kako je u Kijevu završio fakultet za trenera boksa, kako je prvo radio u svom klubu s najmlađima, poslije ih vodio kroz starije uzraste, te pomagao u ukrajinskoj reprezentaciji. Inače, i sam je bio boksač. Natjecao se od svoje petnaeste do osamnaeste godine. Bio u to vrijeme treći u Ukrajini, te tim uspjehom zaslužio status kandidata za majstora sporta.

Kao što je to radio u Ukrajini unatrag 20-ak godina, tako je krenuo u Dubrovniku. Okupio je mladost, krenuo s njima raditi osnove boksa. S najmlađima motoriku, sa starijima abecedu boksa. Bez tog se temelja ne može, istaknut će, te dodati kako za dobar rezultat treba vremena, oko tri godine.

Što su naučili u nepunu godinu dana, jedanaest mjeseci od prvog treninga? Doznat ćemo u subotu, 18. veljače, u Zagrebu, u Boksačkom centru na Velesajmu. Prvi put u povijesti Hrvatske amaterske lige, koju organizira Zagrebački boksački savez, nastupit će i članovi Boksačkog kluba Dubrovnik, i to jedna boksačica (Iva Cetinić), te tri boksača (Maroje Žuvela, David Žakula i Ante Klinac).
