Desetak godina prije negoli će stradalnici petrinjskog potresa prinudno useliti u kontejnerska naselja, u SAD-u žrtve velike recesije, redom pauperizirani plavi ovratnici u dobnoj skupini 60 plus, pridružuju se karavani bez itinerara. Nisu stacionirani u kontejnerima kao Banijci, već svoje kampere pretvaraju u mobilne kuće i obilaze Ameriku u misiji samospoznaje i osvještenja od surovog kapitalizma koji ih je samljeo i ispljunuo.

Doživljaje pripadnika supkulture osiromašenih dokumentarističkom preciznošću prati film 'Zemlja nomada' (Nomadland) redateljice Chloe Zhao, rođene Kineskinje zadojene zapadnjačkom kulturom, no s istančanim osjećajem za socijalnu komponentu. Zhao svoje afinitete nenametljivo ugrađuje u dramu sporog ritma i impresije koja uvelike nadmašuje nestrukturiranu radnju. A njezina je glavna nositeljica otpuštena službenica Fern, neugledno čeljade škrto na emocijama koje hrabro kroči prema idealu slobode.

Udova Fern je lik kao skrojen za dvostruku oskarovku Frances McDormand ( Fargo, Tri plakata izvan grada), glavnu glumicu i producenticu filma koji bi joj mogao donijeti i treći kipić. I ne bi to bilo nezasluženo, jer McDormand i ovom prigodom pokazuje s kolikom moći transformacije raspolaže. Jedan krupni plan s borom na čelu ili stisnutom čeljusti dovoljni su za prijenos siline suspregnutih osjećaja koji kuljaju ispod naizgled nepronična lica nesuđene umirovljenice.

Ukupnoj uvjerljivosti pridonose i natuščici, ljudi koji su u stvarnom životu iskusili sva poniženja izrabljivanja putem privremenih poslova za korporacije multimilijardera. Prošli su i odiseju američkim pustopoljinama presječenim tek crtom asfalta. Takva je plemenita gubitnica Linda May.

Takva je teško bolesna Swankie koja nije dočekala premijeru 'Zemlje nomada' na Venecijanskom festivalu gdje je film nagrađen Zlatnim lavom. Takav je i sijedi bradonja Bob Wells, zbiljski osnivač neformalnog pokreta putujućih vlasnika RV (recreation vehicle) koji već dvanaestu godinu krstare Amerikom. Wells nije guru u negativnom smislu riječi. On nije manipulativan niti ikog podčinjava: vođen osobnom traumom, zemljake koji su emocionalno ili materijalno krahirali poziva u zajednicu gdje se nitko ne klanja njegovu veličanstvu dolaru.

Filmu Chloe Zhao može se prigovoriti nedostatak dramaturgije, no ne i jasnoća poruke. 'Zemlja nomada', proizašla iz knjige američke novinarke specijalizirane za socijalne teme Jessice Bruder iz 2017. dobrodošao je orijentir za istinske ljevičare koji se traže još od propasti Blairova 'Trećeg puta'. Odricanje od pohlepe i povratak prirodi umjesto manijakalnog bogaćenja predstavljeni su kao istinski američki san. A do njega neumitno vode osobne tragedije protagonista koje i gledatelja diraju u dušu.

Desetak godina prije negoli će stradalnici petrinjskog potresa prinudno useliti u kontejnerska naselja, u SAD-u žrtve velike recesije, redom pauperizirani plavi ovratnici u dobnoj skupini 60 plus, pridružuju se karavani bez itinerara. Nisu stacionirani u kontejnerima kao Banijci, već svoje kampere pretvaraju u mobilne kuće i obilaze Ameriku u misiji samospoznaje i osvještenja od surovog kapitalizma koji ih je samljeo i ispljunuo.

Doživljaje pripadnika supkulture osiromašenih dokumentarističkom preciznošću prati film 'Zemlja nomada' (Nomadland) redateljice Chloe Zhao, rođene Kineskinje zadojene zapadnjačkom kulturom, no s istančanim osjećajem za socijalnu komponentu. Zhao svoje afinitete nenametljivo ugrađuje u dramu sporog ritma i impresije koja uvelike nadmašuje nestrukturiranu radnju. A njezina je glavna nositeljica otpuštena službenica Fern, neugledno čeljade škrto na emocijama koje hrabro kroči prema idealu slobode.

Udova Fern je lik kao skrojen za dvostruku oskarovku Frances McDormand ( Fargo, Tri plakata izvan grada), glavnu glumicu i producenticu filma koji bi joj mogao donijeti i treći kipić. I ne bi to bilo nezasluženo, jer McDormand i ovom prigodom pokazuje s kolikom moći transformacije raspolaže. Jedan krupni plan s borom na čelu ili stisnutom čeljusti dovoljni su za prijenos siline suspregnutih osjećaja koji kuljaju ispod naizgled nepronična lica nesuđene umirovljenice.

Ukupnoj uvjerljivosti pridonose i natuščici, ljudi koji su u stvarnom životu iskusili sva poniženja izrabljivanja putem privremenih poslova za korporacije multimilijardera. Prošli su i odiseju američkim pustopoljinama presječenim tek crtom asfalta. Takva je plemenita gubitnica Linda May.

Takva je teško bolesna Swankie koja nije dočekala premijeru 'Zemlje nomada' na Venecijanskom festivalu gdje je film nagrađen Zlatnim lavom. Takav je i sijedi bradonja Bob Wells, zbiljski osnivač neformalnog pokreta putujućih vlasnika RV (recreation vehicle) koji već dvanaestu godinu krstare Amerikom. Wells nije guru u negativnom smislu riječi. On nije manipulativan niti ikog podčinjava: vođen osobnom traumom, zemljake koji su emocionalno ili materijalno krahirali poziva u zajednicu gdje se nitko ne klanja njegovu veličanstvu dolaru.

Filmu Chloe Zhao može se prigovoriti nedostatak dramaturgije, no ne i jasnoća poruke. 'Zemlja nomada', proizašla iz knjige američke novinarke specijalizirane za socijalne teme Jessice Bruder iz 2017. dobrodošao je orijentir za istinske ljevičare koji se traže još od propasti Blairova 'Trećeg puta'. Odricanje od pohlepe i povratak prirodi umjesto manijakalnog bogaćenja predstavljeni su kao istinski američki san. A do njega neumitno vode osobne tragedije protagonista koje i gledatelja diraju u dušu.

Desetak godina prije negoli će stradalnici petrinjskog potresa prinudno useliti u kontejnerska naselja, u SAD-u žrtve velike recesije, redom pauperizirani plavi ovratnici u dobnoj skupini 60 plus, pridružuju se karavani bez itinerara. Nisu stacionirani u kontejnerima kao Banijci, već svoje kampere pretvaraju u mobilne kuće i obilaze Ameriku u misiji samospoznaje i osvještenja od surovog kapitalizma koji ih je samljeo i ispljunuo.

Doživljaje pripadnika supkulture osiromašenih dokumentarističkom preciznošću prati film 'Zemlja nomada' (Nomadland) redateljice Chloe Zhao, rođene Kineskinje zadojene zapadnjačkom kulturom, no s istančanim osjećajem za socijalnu komponentu. Zhao svoje afinitete nenametljivo ugrađuje u dramu sporog ritma i impresije koja uvelike nadmašuje nestrukturiranu radnju. A njezina je glavna nositeljica otpuštena službenica Fern, neugledno čeljade škrto na emocijama koje hrabro kroči prema idealu slobode.

Udova Fern je lik kao skrojen za dvostruku oskarovku Frances McDormand ( Fargo, Tri plakata izvan grada), glavnu glumicu i producenticu filma koji bi joj mogao donijeti i treći kipić. I ne bi to bilo nezasluženo, jer McDormand i ovom prigodom pokazuje s kolikom moći transformacije raspolaže. Jedan krupni plan s borom na čelu ili stisnutom čeljusti dovoljni su za prijenos siline suspregnutih osjećaja koji kuljaju ispod naizgled nepronična lica nesuđene umirovljenice.

Ukupnoj uvjerljivosti pridonose i natuščici, ljudi koji su u stvarnom životu iskusili sva poniženja izrabljivanja putem privremenih poslova za korporacije multimilijardera. Prošli su i odiseju američkim pustopoljinama presječenim tek crtom asfalta. Takva je plemenita gubitnica Linda May.

Takva je teško bolesna Swankie koja nije dočekala premijeru 'Zemlje nomada' na Venecijanskom festivalu gdje je film nagrađen Zlatnim lavom. Takav je i sijedi bradonja Bob Wells, zbiljski osnivač neformalnog pokreta putujućih vlasnika RV (recreation vehicle) koji već dvanaestu godinu krstare Amerikom. Wells nije guru u negativnom smislu riječi. On nije manipulativan niti ikog podčinjava: vođen osobnom traumom, zemljake koji su emocionalno ili materijalno krahirali poziva u zajednicu gdje se nitko ne klanja njegovu veličanstvu dolaru.

Filmu Chloe Zhao može se prigovoriti nedostatak dramaturgije, no ne i jasnoća poruke. 'Zemlja nomada', proizašla iz knjige američke novinarke specijalizirane za socijalne teme Jessice Bruder iz 2017. dobrodošao je orijentir za istinske ljevičare koji se traže još od propasti Blairova 'Trećeg puta'. Odricanje od pohlepe i povratak prirodi umjesto manijakalnog bogaćenja predstavljeni su kao istinski američki san. A do njega neumitno vode osobne tragedije protagonista koje i gledatelja diraju u dušu.
