Tamo suvereno sjedi već dvanaestu godinu, još od prvog nastavka moćnog akcijskog trilera '96 sati', gdje glumi oca bivšeg obavještajca koji spašava kći iz ralja prostitucije. U novom filmu 'Pokajnik' Neeson je umirovljeni marinac i pljačkaš malih bostonskih banaka koji zbog ljubavi pod stare dane odluči napustiti posao, što baš i ne ide lako.

Scenarist i redatelj Mark Williams, dokazan po angažmanu u TV uspješici 'Ozark' i solidnom filmu 'Računovođa' s Benom Affleckom, ovaj put nudi manje kompleksnu, na momente naivnu priču o zaljubljenom lupežu specijaliziranom za eksplozive koji se namjeri na lakome agente FBI-a.

Neeson se ulogom Toma Cartera ne odmiče previše od obrasca dobrodušnog marginalca, vještog na oružju i fanatično posvećenog osveti. Nekim čudom to glumačko perpetuiranje uvijek upali. Ovaj put potpora mu dolazi i od nosive ženske role Kate Walsh koje se mnogi sjećaju po nastupu u dugovječnoj američkoj TV seriji 'Uvod u anatomiju'. Tamo je glumila izvrsnu neonatologinju, a ovdje samosvjesnu Annie, po svemu ravnopravnu Neesonovu liku. Glavni junaci dijaloški baš i nisu inovativni ali kao romantični par na ekranu izgledaju sasvim prirodno.

Epizodisti su u filmu redom G-men, a glumački najpoznatiji među njima, Robert Patrick, (Terminator, Dosjei X) nažalost najranije ispada iz igre pa ne uspijeva dati više. Tandem korumpiranih saveznih agenata su, ne osobito upečatljivo, odradili Australac Jai Courtney i latino glazbenik Anthony Ramos, a najbolje je minutažu na ekranu među sporednima kapitalizirao Jeffrey Donovan (Sicario, Eastwoodov J. Edgar).

Njegov je agent Meyers pomalo ukočen profesionalac s neobičnom ostavštinom. U tom smislu posebno priznanje za izvedbu zaslužuje Tazzie, pseća glumačka zvijezda u nastajanju. Minijature umiljate male lajavice pamtljivije su od vratolomija većine ljudskih protagonista koji uglavnom kruže oko općih mjesta akcijskih filmova kojima 'Pokajnik' obiluje i toga se nimalo ne stidi.

Williamsov redateljski uradak zapravo je toliko pojednostavljen i nepretenciozan da mu se mogu oprostiti sva scenaristička spoticanja i nelogičnosti. Može se reći da izvorni naziv 'Pošteni lopov', dobrim dijelom odgovara ugođaju filma kojemu je glavna odlika pristup bez fige u džepu. Publici je Neeson isporučen u ambalaži na kakvu su navikli i vole je baš takvu, bez redizajna i dodataka.

Tamo suvereno sjedi već dvanaestu godinu, još od prvog nastavka moćnog akcijskog trilera '96 sati', gdje glumi oca bivšeg obavještajca koji spašava kći iz ralja prostitucije. U novom filmu 'Pokajnik' Neeson je umirovljeni marinac i pljačkaš malih bostonskih banaka koji zbog ljubavi pod stare dane odluči napustiti posao, što baš i ne ide lako.

Scenarist i redatelj Mark Williams, dokazan po angažmanu u TV uspješici 'Ozark' i solidnom filmu 'Računovođa' s Benom Affleckom, ovaj put nudi manje kompleksnu, na momente naivnu priču o zaljubljenom lupežu specijaliziranom za eksplozive koji se namjeri na lakome agente FBI-a.

Neeson se ulogom Toma Cartera ne odmiče previše od obrasca dobrodušnog marginalca, vještog na oružju i fanatično posvećenog osveti. Nekim čudom to glumačko perpetuiranje uvijek upali. Ovaj put potpora mu dolazi i od nosive ženske role Kate Walsh koje se mnogi sjećaju po nastupu u dugovječnoj američkoj TV seriji 'Uvod u anatomiju'. Tamo je glumila izvrsnu neonatologinju, a ovdje samosvjesnu Annie, po svemu ravnopravnu Neesonovu liku. Glavni junaci dijaloški baš i nisu inovativni ali kao romantični par na ekranu izgledaju sasvim prirodno.

Epizodisti su u filmu redom G-men, a glumački najpoznatiji među njima, Robert Patrick, (Terminator, Dosjei X) nažalost najranije ispada iz igre pa ne uspijeva dati više. Tandem korumpiranih saveznih agenata su, ne osobito upečatljivo, odradili Australac Jai Courtney i latino glazbenik Anthony Ramos, a najbolje je minutažu na ekranu među sporednima kapitalizirao Jeffrey Donovan (Sicario, Eastwoodov J. Edgar).

Njegov je agent Meyers pomalo ukočen profesionalac s neobičnom ostavštinom. U tom smislu posebno priznanje za izvedbu zaslužuje Tazzie, pseća glumačka zvijezda u nastajanju. Minijature umiljate male lajavice pamtljivije su od vratolomija većine ljudskih protagonista koji uglavnom kruže oko općih mjesta akcijskih filmova kojima 'Pokajnik' obiluje i toga se nimalo ne stidi.

Williamsov redateljski uradak zapravo je toliko pojednostavljen i nepretenciozan da mu se mogu oprostiti sva scenaristička spoticanja i nelogičnosti. Može se reći da izvorni naziv 'Pošteni lopov', dobrim dijelom odgovara ugođaju filma kojemu je glavna odlika pristup bez fige u džepu. Publici je Neeson isporučen u ambalaži na kakvu su navikli i vole je baš takvu, bez redizajna i dodataka.

POKAJNIK IS COMING FOR YOU Liam Neeson u dobro poznatom izdanju koje uvijek pali. Dobrodušan marginalac, vješt na oružju, fanatično posvećen osveti

Iako je na pragu sedamdesete, Irac Liam Neeson neće lako prepustiti konkurenciji mjesto na tronu vremešnih akcijskih junaka. Tamo suvereno sjedi već dvanaestu godinu, još od prvog nastavka moćnog akcijskog trilera '96 sati', gdje glumi oca bivšeg obavještajca koji spašava kći iz ralja prostitucije. U novom filmu 'Pokajnik' Neeson je umirovljeni marinac i pljačkaš malih bostonskih banaka koji zbog ljubavi pod stare dane odluči napustiti posao, što baš i ne ide lako.

Scenarist i redatelj Mark Williams, dokazan po angažmanu u TV uspješici 'Ozark' i solidnom filmu 'Računovođa' s Benom Affleckom, ovaj put nudi manje kompleksnu, na momente naivnu priču o zaljubljenom lupežu specijaliziranom za eksplozive koji se namjeri na lakome agente FBI-a.

Neeson se ulogom Toma Cartera ne odmiče previše od obrasca dobrodušnog marginalca, vještog na oružju i fanatično posvećenog osveti. Nekim čudom to glumačko perpetuiranje uvijek upali. Ovaj put potpora mu dolazi i od nosive ženske role Kate Walsh koje se mnogi sjećaju po nastupu u dugovječnoj američkoj TV seriji 'Uvod u anatomiju'. Tamo je glumila izvrsnu neonatologinju, a ovdje samosvjesnu Annie, po svemu ravnopravnu Neesonovu liku. Glavni junaci dijaloški baš i nisu inovativni ali kao romantični par na ekranu izgledaju sasvim prirodno.

Epizodisti su u filmu redom G-men, a glumački najpoznatiji među njima, Robert Patrick, (Terminator, Dosjei X) nažalost najranije ispada iz igre pa ne uspijeva dati više. Tandem korumpiranih saveznih agenata su, ne osobito upečatljivo, odradili Australac Jai Courtney i latino glazbenik Anthony Ramos, a najbolje je minutažu na ekranu među sporednima kapitalizirao Jeffrey Donovan (Sicario, Eastwoodov J. Edgar).

Njegov je agent Meyers pomalo ukočen profesionalac s neobičnom ostavštinom. U tom smislu posebno priznanje za izvedbu zaslužuje Tazzie, pseća glumačka zvijezda u nastajanju. Minijature umiljate male lajavice pamtljivije su od vratolomija većine ljudskih protagonista koji uglavnom kruže oko općih mjesta akcijskih filmova kojima 'Pokajnik' obiluje i toga se nimalo ne stidi.

Williamsov redateljski uradak zapravo je toliko pojednostavljen i nepretenciozan da mu se mogu oprostiti sva scenaristička spoticanja i nelogičnosti. Može se reći da izvorni naziv 'Pošteni lopov', dobrim dijelom odgovara ugođaju filma kojemu je glavna odlika pristup bez fige u džepu. Publici je Neeson isporučen u ambalaži na kakvu su navikli i vole je baš takvu, bez redizajna i dodataka.
